The American Rescue Plan Act is providing funds to schools and libraries across America to address learning loss and the academic needs of students. With the help of ARPA funding and assistive technology by Enhanced Vision, you can provide much-needed support to students and patrons.

What That Means:

Funds will be allocated by each state to schools and libraries for the purchase of assistive technology. This is a great time to evaluate your facility’s needs and action plan for facilitating distance learning, in-person learning, or a hybrid of both.

Transformer HD

Transformer HD Offers a 3-in-1 camera that can be pointed to magnify reading materials, images at a distance, as well as viewing oneself. It also connects via Wi-Fi to a laptop, desktop computer, tablet, or monitor. Images can be captured and stored for later use. If your eyes need a break, optional text-to-speech (OCR) will read back printed text to you aloud (not available for Chrome).

Merlin mini

Merlin mini is a foldable desktop magnifier offering a 3-in-1 camera allowing you to magnify text and images at varying distances. A powerful magnifier with a small footprint makes it a great solution no matter where you set it up. An internal 5-hour rechargeable battery eliminates the need to be tethered by a cord. Available with a 15.6” or 17.3” monitor.

DaVinci Pro

A high-performance desktop magnifier with a 3-in-1 rotating camera that allows you to zoom in on objects at a distance, up close, and anywhere in-between. Magnified images/text are displayed on a generous 24” high-resolution monitor. DaVinci Pro is computer compatible, allowing one to toggle between a live image and your computer. OCR is a standard feature, allowing you to have printed text read back to you with the simple push of a button.
